1001 Albums Summary

Obviously some all-time classic songs on this album, so it's hard to go lower than 4 stars. But I'm not sure I'd go back to listen to the songs that *weren't* the singles (for me). Note: didn't listen to expanded album content

Surprised that I didn't recognize any of the songs off this album. "Sounds like R.E.M." is my feeling, and realizing it's from 1983 makes it more interesting - since it could totally be released today and you wouldn't know it was 40 years old.

Neat to hear the original song sampled by The Fugees, an album earlier in the generator.

I didn't know what to expect, but I enjoyed it nonetheless.

Always fun finding out that a modern song used a sample, in this case Sleigh Bells.
