Paul's Boutique by Beastie Boys
Oct 09 2023

ngl they had me in the first half The first few tracks I wasn`t really feeling the whole record, the beats, this old school energetic, shouting type of rap - it just didn't vibe for. However after a few tracks I opened up to their style. The last track is an absolute jam by the way and I was already digging it twice in a row. Will definitely be coming back to this album, at least to check out, if I feel differently about the first few tracks. Although I guess for me it will probably never reach the status of an essential hip-hop album, it has for so many other people.

Already hitting a gem on day 2, lucky me

Tracy Chapman by Tracy Chapman
Oct 12 2023

Not my cup of tea, after some time the music sounded a bit bland to me. Even after repeated listens it was hard for me to differentiate the songs. Except for Mountains O'Things, that's a certified jam.

Talking Book by Stevie Wonder
Oct 13 2023

Mixed feelings on this album - that's my ususal problem with Stevie. here are some songs on it, which I absolutely adore - usually the more upbeat funky ones. But those kitschy love songs just don't do it for me at all

yaaawn - not my cup of tea

Exodus by Bob Marley & The Wailers
Oct 17 2023

Jamming should be the definition, why a jam‘s called a jam

Strange Cargo III by William Orbit
Oct 18 2023

great instrumental album to listen while working, but the songs sort of blend into each other

The United States Of America by The United States Of America
Oct 19 2023

Pretty weird and experimental - I like it. "Where is is Yesterday" reminds me so much of Madlibs track "Shadows of Tomorrow" off of Madvillainy - a connection I wasn't expecting, but I love it.

World Clique by Deee-Lite
Oct 20 2023

We don't need a clique To make our clock tick Our clique is the world The world is our clique ... do I need to say more Not even Q-Tip could salvage this record

Crime Of The Century by Supertramp
Oct 23 2023

this album really grow on me over 4 listens especially the first 3 tracks as well as the title track, which is definitely my favorite here

G. Love And Special Sauce by G. Love & Special Sauce
Oct 25 2023

was expecting something like Vanilla Ice, but not that definitely a nice surprise

The Bends by Radiohead
Oct 26 2023

I liked it quite a lot - not as much though as other Radiohead albums early favorites: Fade Out, Just, The Bends

Eagles by Eagles
