Love this album, very familiar with it, but excited to listen with a fresh ear.
Sadder overall then I remember, but her voice is so lovely. So unapologetic and genuine as trite as that is.
Whole album just feels like a ride or die love story, timeless passion, drug fueled, and destined to flame out.
Really like the drugs and love aspect of it all.

Sounds like the moment classic rock took a hard turn, but it's still pretty simple and melodic. Not super crazy about dude's voice, but it sounded better to my ear by the end of it.
Eh. Chuck D is sick, but flava flav ruins it along with the not pleasant to listen to beats. Must be a had to be there kind of thing.
Really liked it more than I expected. Such interesting compositions with guitar riffs of the time mixed with operatic vibes.

Eh. It's good. I just don't think I'm a Beyonce folk. The few albums I've listened to always leave me feeling like 3 or 4 of the songs were somehow Genuine? Beyonce and the rest are just trying to influence and shape the cutting edge of what is cool.

Really impressed! The opening and the first half of the album are just perfect. "My friend of misery" seemed to work for this moment quite well.

Eh. Yes isn't really my thing. They always sound too polished, like there's no soul in the music. It's good, but just not for me.

Weird. Like a shitty space opera not done by David Bowie. Saulsbury Hill and one other more jazzy one were great. Some good guitar licks, but overall not for me. Sounds like that era for sure, what little I've listened to it.
Love this album, have listened many times before. Always good front to back.
