Exodus by Bob Marley & The Wailers
Oct 05 2023

Dude! Listening to this in a blanket fort and lighting up was purely iconic! I may be bias due to my set up but I absolutely loved this album. It’s one I will keep in my rotation of albums I listen to.

What's Going On by Marvin Gaye
Oct 09 2023

Too slow and the lyrics weren’t my favorite. This is one I will not be listening to again.

Pink Moon by Nick Drake
Oct 11 2023

This one gave me campfire vibes. Not necessarily a bad thing. To me it means that it can be put on for background noise in specific settings. I wanted to skip ahead to the next song but it would be the same damn guitar rhythm and tone with the next song. It felt like it never truly went anywhere. Over all as of right now I give it a 2.5 rating.

At Fillmore East by The Allman Brothers Band
Oct 12 2023

This album felt like one big jam session which was dope! I did find myself missing the vocals throughout the songs. It’s definitely an album Id put on in the background while I did some work. This one gets a 3 from me baby!

Dare! by The Human League
Oct 13 2023

I liked how this album had the iconic 80s synth pop vibes. The first 2 or 3 songs almost made me give up on the album but then it picked up enough. I did enjoy how the songs had smooth transitions between them. However at time it did feel like I was listening to an overly long intro to the next song. Thankfully the album ends on a high note with the iconic song “Don’t you want me”. Now that was a jam! I did like the album but not my favorite. 3.5 from me! 😁

The Doors by The Doors
Oct 16 2023

Next time I hear this album I want to be camping in the middle of a dry dessert under the stars and smoking with friends. I really liked this albums jam session vibes. Especially in the song ‘Light My Fire’ since the songs felt more complete and rounded off. I also enjoyed the flare that the electronic organ gave throughout the first half of the album.

This album helped me realize that I am not a fan of the harmonica. Every once in awhile I felt like the harmonica was piercing through my skull and jamming up my brain. I did enjoy Bob Dylans 115th Dream the most since it had a story like feel to it. Very basic but still a journey. Would not listen to it again cause of the damn harmonica

I enjoyed this much more then I thought I would. I liked the slight Australian blues and dessert rock vibes. Solid 3.5 from me!

Gorillaz by Gorillaz
Oct 23 2023

Classic gorillaz! Clint Eastwood has always been one of my favorite songs of theirs. Obvious this is a 5/5 for me!

Blood Sugar Sex Magik by Red Hot Chili Peppers
Oct 24 2023

I had never heard this album before so it was nice to find a couple of new songs I hadn’t heard before. RHCP is a great band but for me it’s one that I need to be in the mood for to listen to a whole album again. 3.5/5
