1001 Albums Summary

Has the feel of the beach boys with a classical feel.

Bounced hard off this, many songs sound like something you come up with in the shower.

Each song is so different and long. Many themes in just one song, interesting to listen too once for sure. Don't think I could listen to it full time.

Some good stuff in here. Album does flow the best and same background track is used a lot. More I listen to it the more I like some songs.

One hit wonders. Surprised they on this list.

Their lyrics' don't call to me at all. Just sounds flat to me. Lots of albums so they must of had a cult following.

Been told this is a garage band style and I hate it. Sounds like all the background drums and bass just random notes. Wild music I guess.

Fun Album, Nice tunes

So So Album with a lacking lead singer imo

For a list of the most important albums in history I'm surprised this was added. Some days I'm shocked at what the generator pulls out of its ass. It is some early punk rock vibes but each song is going for a different theme or feel. Makes the album jaring to listen too.

Not even their biggest album or one of the early ones that could have been the inspo for later punk rock. Disappointing album.

Rap, african in sounds with a lot of soundboard effects. Paper Airplanes was huge for a few years. Its crazy how many ppl listen to that one song with the rest of the album is so low. To me its because each song is very different without a flow as you listen to the album from beginning to end. Single songs all bundled together.

Really enjoyed this one.

Album that is a huge impact on many rappers that follow in his footsteps. Enjoyable listen.

Not their best album and doesn't help they mostly a one hit wonder band.

Solid album, Pet Sounds song never took off like many of the other songs on this album. The remastered stereo does sound better to me compared to the older mono. "Caroline, no" was my favorite on the album.

Elton John is wonderful

Felt so slow. Maybe good for lo-fi background music.

Man I remember the Mercedes Benz song from this album.

Again surprised this album is on the list, Would hope "Are you experienced?" would be around instead of this album.
