1001 Albums Summary

I had listened to Breakfast in America, but this is the first time I listened to Crime of the Century in its entirety. Sounds great! It's got that sweet prog rock production!

At first I was like "oh great, piano for 68 minutes", but I stuck it on while I got shit done and was like "day-um, this is good stuff".

Brilliant. A Day In The Life. Fucking brilliant.

So revolutionary... ahead of their time. Mad respect.

I'm glad I listened, and I hear the greatness, but I'm not sure this changes anything.

Sure, it's a little pretentious, which loads of flute, but I can see this being someone's bag.

Kind of underwhelming beyond the title track. That title track is a gem, though, sounding as good today as in 1983.
