All Hail the Queen
Queen Latifahi loved this shit
i loved this shit
im definitely biased bc i grew up listening to some songs from this album but after hearing the whole thing i can confirm that i do fuck w this. love the blend of folk-ish style and world music, but i didn't like the last few tracks that much (african skies/homeless/that was your mother)
ngl this was pretty alright, def made me think i should listen to the beatles more but a lot of the tracks didn't hit super hard. Martha and I'm So Tired were some of my favs, most of the rest were pretty good but not amazing imo
by the time i was halfway through this album i was ready for it to end.. the music itself is alright, but the tracks all sounded the same which made the overall album too bland/brooding imo
they rly started off on the wrong foot but kinda turned it around. still not my style but not awful
i was into this shit fr. liked the funk/blues influences, instrumentals hit just right. gonna round up to 5 bc i loved all of it except the title track
solid vibes, liked the instrumentals. an overall yes
This was fine, not rly my thing
i don't rly love his style or instrumentals, i prefer ppl like tribe called quest/digable planets/MF DOOM
im into it
everyone already knows this album is the shit. doesn't hurt that it has some of their most successful songs on it too
kinda weird, kinda fun. didn't love it but it was enjoyable to listen to, i'd def listen again if im in the right mood
i just love the blues. what else can i say?
the lineup? all-stars. the music? impeccable. miles davis was always an icon and this album definitely helped to build that reputation. i could talk about jazz all day tho so i'll leave it at that
it was fine
not into it
honestly i only knew blondie's hits and didnt know what to expect. i was rly into this tho!!
it was depressing but not in the way i like it to be
i loved this shit
ive been a mild fan for a while but the album has made me like them more. i appreciate that they do a little bit of everything and make it a little weird
huge parliament / funkadelic fan. the weirder the better!!!
Lauryn Hill is amazing
Everything sounded the same and not rly my fav but i like the general vibes
lyrics are amazing and im rly into the instrumentals too
i love weird stuff but not this kind of weird
sounded like emo ambient noise honestly. tolerable but not memorable
it was very hit or miss for me, but the good ones hit hard
it was fine, nothing rly hit for me though
i grew up listening to this and it's just as good as i remembered, i love the sound and all the songs are great imo
it was fine
this was like if the beatles played music that was more my vibe
pharcyde can do no wrong imo
i love that its super weird but i prob wouldnt listen to most of it again
some tracks were really good and others were really weird but i appreciate how fun the whole album is
good background music but i dont think i would seek it out bc the tracks are so long and rambling
forgot how amazing the white stripes are
not rly my style but good songwriting!
