Solid solid vibe. I like how it's rocking but not excessively hard. "Highway Star" was a fun one. The guitar riff in "Smoke On the Water" is of course unmatched. Low key enjoyed "Space Truckin'" quite a bit it's a solid closer.
enjoyed more than a high school band concert. it might grow on me with more time. i don't know that i'll take the chance.
the audio mixing is surprisingly good on this album (notably track 1)—I guess it's just stereo, but it almost sounds like atmos surround sound.
track 1 (1969): it sure was 1969.
track 2 (I Wanna Be Your Dog): ummmmmmmmmm... ig they're saying they wanna chill about all day?
track 3 (We Will Fall): i like the spooky amp noises at the beginning. it's looooooong though
track 4 (No Fun): this one's kinda fun
track 5 (Real Cool Time): forgot to listen to this one
track 6 (Ann): saaaaaaame deal
track 7 (Not Right): some fun guitar things goin on here, relatively chill (its not that chil its just the rest of the album is soooooooooo not chill). The fade out was NOT subtilely done.
track 8 (Little Doll): title reminds me of 'little freak' by Sir Harry Styles. Why does singer have a southern twang now?
overall: pretty cool rockin album, not my usual style but i enjoyed.
OMG THIS ALBUM HAS HALLELUJAH ON IT ABSOLUTE BANGER CLASSIC.
The rest of the album is an interesting combination of hard rock and more mellow music—I like it quite a bit. Corpus Christi Carol is particularly nice. Bro needs a better neckline on that shirt tho. Really the whole second half of the album is extremely strong. Great listen!!!
I enjoyed it! Wasn't quite as focused on listening as some past ones, but it was a very chill vibe and I could totally imagine using it as study music. Solid.
french national anthem sample on 'Luck of Lucien' goes crazy. Can i kick it was a fun one too!
thought it was quite a good vibe actually! I was busily writing college essays during the listen so I wasn't exactly locked in but i did a lot of work during the listen. fantastic college essay writing album!
Ummmm I liked Marie (the last song). A tad racist for my taste. The music sounded fine though.
Honestly really enjoyed even though I'm not usually much of a jazz guy. Would put on as study music!
Only listened to disc 1... not sure if that's illegal but I didn't have loads of time. quite enjoyed this actually! the 3 part structure of "another brick in the wall" is cool and the theme of those 3 is ofc classic. I love goodbye cruel world as an album closer—all time.
this is a looooooooooong one. lets see if its a vibe. what is this wacky ass album. the noises are genuinely out of control. wtf tbh. peking o got even weirder... FINALLY MADE IT THROUGH SHEEEEEEESH
uh ohhhhh another metal album. i can't cope. it was good enough i suppose for metal.
SO GOOD. I know kanye has become a problematic figure but this album was no skips (even the weird skits) from start to finish. faaaaaaantastic. I love through the wire and all falls down but jesus walks was low key a bop too.
CRAZY GOOD ALBUM SHEEEEEESH. Girls just wanna have fun and time after time are ofc classics. I LOVE all through the night, low key prolly my fav on the album. This is 80s pop perfection.
accidentally listened to it on shuffle so i got a very random selection but overall i really liked the vibe! fun and I could see myself listening to it as background music.
I really liked this actually! My favorites were probably "Basket Case", "FOD", and "In the End". I actually do see the appeal good album! Oh and i REALLY LIKED "Welcome to Paradise"
REALLY GOOD I LIKED IT. Not my usual genre but I quite enjoyed this. I was locked in while listening too. Might even add it to the rotation! My favorite might have been the closer "Ain't No Way" all though that could be recency bias.
it was one of the metal albums.
I enjoyed this I'd say! It was pretty long but solid vibes throughout. Not like floored by it but it was certainly enjoyable. Probably like a 3.5 we'll decide whether I round up or down tomorrow.
Well. I guess R.E.M. wasn't overhyped. The two singles are still the ones that do it most for me, but I also really enjoyed the vibes of "King of Birds" and "Strange." The album is somewhat homogenous to me but that might be because I don't listen to much of the genre. Solid listen!
David Bowie's chill. Nothing super inspirational on this album but nothing disgusting either. I liked the experimentation in "Station to Station," but I also can't really get behind 10 minute songs (sorry t swizzle).
Hmmmmm kinda went hard actually. My favorite song was "Family Tree," I don't know exactly how to put it into words but the vibes were just on point. "Love Dog" gave me vague Elvis vibes—not sure if that was intentional? Pretty much enjoyed!
SO FRESH, SO CLEAN REMAINS A CERTIFIED BOP. OMG and ms. jackson is on this album??? That's crazy actually this is hit filled. Ok I finished now. This was really superb. It worked not just as individual songs/skits, but as a cohesive unit. Tracks 4 and 5 are still the ones that stand out the most, but the whole thing was a great listen!!!
Hmmmm i didn't get to pay super close attention to it, but I did like the vibe.
didn't wow me, didn't hate it either. the canonical 3.
Chill album, not totally my vibe but I thought it was nice.
didn't listen to the whole thing, but i got the vibe. the vibe was weird.
