1001 Albums Summary

Day 1 Jeff Buckley Grace Reminds me of Mark engineer 7 years ago telling me I needed to hear this since it was one of the greatest albums of all time, and he sensed Jeff Buckley potential from me. Androgynous, operatic, grand, but also relatable singer songwriter lyrics like Van Morrison. Combining goo storytelling with intense musicality and experimental expression, definitely not pop. Musician’s music. It's a masterpiece. I've favourited almost every single song.

Just not for me. There were a couple of tracks I quite liked: Tales of Brave Ulysses and Take it Back. I think I need a "nice" voice to really connect with the music. There's some real fun moments though in this. Like the last track Mother's Lament.

An absolute masterpiece. Rudy is one of the coolest songs I've ever heard. School is awesome. Crime of the Century (the last track) is cool AF. Definitely going to be a major influence on my own music.

Awesome rock voice. First song great. Fuck yessssss Born on the bayou Bootleg Good golly miss Molly Penthouse pauper Yesssss The first thing to make me dance for 20 minutes straight like a goofball. LOVEEEEE

What a voice. Music wasn't my cup of tea.. But I favourited two songs: Half Moon and the acapella “Mercedes Benz”. Her voice is even more gritty than I remembered! Pretty good but not my fave overall
