3/5 i can definitely understand the appeal, and for its time it’s incredibly influential even today but looking back its just meh to listen to... couple good tracks, majority filler and forgettable.. meh

started off good, incredibly bored halfway through. so many forgettable tracks, couple good ones like: It's a Sin, Rent, What Have I Done To Deserve This and even One More Chance. won't find myself revisiting this album any time soon, so repetitive and bland to the point where I cant even justify a 3 for the couple good songs it has. pathetic attempts at capturing catchiness in the right way that it shoots itself in the foot due to pure repetitiveness. Shopping is one of the worst songs I've heard this year, holy shit. to the lad in the cover: me too mate, me too. 2/5 BLEH

I've literally never listened to this album despite how hugely popular it is so this will be fun. 3 tracks in so far, don't really care for it thus far, 2nd half of "The Beautiful Ones" is pretty solid though. aaaand I'm done.. definitely like how varied and interesting this album is, especially compared to my first 2 albums on here that I ranked prior to this one. couple filler tracks and a handful of good but not great songs but overall I can somewhat get behind the hype of this album A very comfortable 4/5

First time listening to this entire album, I have heard Cecilia though.. currently 8 songs in and I am trying to like this but it really isn't my thing lol, couple good songs tho, we'll see if this last bunch will "save" it. yeah, nah this one isn't within my tastes. It isn't terrible, but I'd really only revisit a couple songs in this album like once a year and then forget they exist. 3/5

classic. love it or hate it, it undeniably deserves to be in here, you have to hear it at least once. beautiful singing, great themes (apart from religion, idrc.) and good rapping, it’s a shame she doesn’t drop new music anymore. very solid hip-hop/r&b album 4/5

fucking hell, this is literally the shit sociopaths unironically listen to. I actually feel physically sick after this. please make it stop, i genuinely felt my morality being drained with each song that passed. But even in saying that, I honestly couldn’t stop listening to it. It’s like it played some sort of creepy fucking mind control on me. hands down the creepiest and most unpleasant shit I’ve listened to in a long time, maybe even my entire life? I assume that’s their goal, and they smashed that out of the park.. fair play despite possibly being one of the worst things I’ve ever listened to, I think a part of me enjoys this at the same time. Am I just a masochist? is this album making me discover things about myself? Or do I like the fact that it’s SO good at being terrible? I don’t know, this album genuinely melted my brain. I think it’s mostly a respect thing, It’s not well made music, it’s a well made pile of fucking shit and I like it for that. It’s terrible in a good (and bad) way, it’s actually laughable how shitty this is. Which I prefer over straight shit with no redeeming factors. I’m still giving this a 2, 3 seems too high for this. it’s out of this world level of shit to the point where it was fun, and I couldn’t stop listening. But it’s shit. Like, REALLY shit, and I HAD to know where this would lead.. (not a good place) I don’t regret listening to it, but I’ll be avoiding this album for the rest of my days, but I have to give some sort of respect to it, it was unpleasantly fun and I’ll pleasantly never listen again. 2/5, stay away from me now

Went in with an open mind knowing nothing about this, but I’d be lying if I didn’t feel some slight dread seeing that 20 minute opening track, especially since I knew NOTHING about what was ahead of me. But this is fucking amazing, scratched an itch that I didn’t realise was there. This album placed me in a state of total, dreamy euphoria throughout the entire 43 minutes. Extremely calming, gorgeous instrumentals, I actually needed this today.. I don’t really know what else to say, out of all the albums I’ve had from this project so far, this one is my favourite. 5/5

oh dear. my last album of the year is Kanye's very overrated debut... Kanye is an absolute degenerate, but even putting that to the side here, this is still pretty mid. there ARE a couple lowkey bangers tho, but that's only like 4 songs, the rest are lame as fuck. the last track is literally 13 minutes of rambling nonsense with a beat whacked on top of it. it isnt even a song. fuck off, i dont care about your "issues with promotions" mate. 2/5 overrated as shit

The first 4 songs definitely carry it, it all kinda felt the same but not really in a bad way. But those first 4 tracks are very solid.

I love the thought of being on a beautiful alien planet surrounded by alien landscape and forests. this album is like the soundtrack of those alien worlds. Sign me up please!! I never really cared for electronica but maybe I’ve been missing out holy shit, this is transcending. god aliens are so cool.
