very crunchy guitar. i'm so sick of wonderwall though. i like the swamp song and she's electric, and morning glory is pretty good. today i learned that red wine supernova by chappelle roan is referencing champagne supernova
i like the drum on stand. for someone who prefers instrumentation to lyrics, i'm not huge on the instrumental breaks, but in general i do like the instrumentation throughout this especially the organ. hello cowbell on everyday people. the longer songs don't really have enough going on for me to enjoy them.
the instrumentation really complements the vocals and i really enjoy this album!! you can hear how it's influenced other artists, and the strings especially remind me of janelle monáe
i was already going to love this based on how much i like mr blue sky. i like the strings i love the energy i wasn't expecting to hear as much cowbell on here but i'm here for it. i don't think i'd sit down to listen through a ton but there's a lot of songs i'd like to hear again
i love seven nation army SO!! MUCH!! consistently good guitars and drums and i like the atmospheric stuff like in the cold cold night. i probably won't listen through the whole thing often but some of the songs i will
solid bass and drums, fun organ where present. i might listen to this album again
i'd been meaning to listen to this for a while!! i've listened to damn and to pimp a butterfly a bunch and the vocals and production on this one do not disappoint. the strings!!
good guitars!! really nice strings on disarm. technically well-executed but gets repetitive, which i think is my opinion for a lot of the albums that aren't quite my usual style
oh hey i HAVE heard things on here before! the instrumentation is great though sometimes the mixing on the vocals is a little odd. excellent strings
banger!! i like the synths. favorite songs: secondhand woman, night train
nice beat! favorite songs: your new cuckoo, lovefool, choke
doesn't interest me much. especially not the talking with the gift. got through the first two songs but then had to give up. it's just not for me
it's fine as background noise cause not every song catches my attention. very much dad road trip music. the guitars are nice. favorite songs: i want the one i can't have, what she said, nowhere fast
the vocal harmonies are EXCELLENT!! i'm glad i had my country music phase a few months ago so now i can appreciate this more. can definitely hear the shared influences between this and hozier's stuff. excellent background instrumentation. favorite songs: sun it rises, ragged wood, heard them stirring
