1001 Albums Summary

Rap music has several variations. Run-D.M.C. has a sharp, in your face energy, which I found too tense. Not an album I would listen to.

Mostly good background.

A couple of good songs on this album.

I had the great fortune to see Van Morrison live Slieve Donard in Newcastle, Northern Ireland. The concert was a 350 person dinner show. Played golf at the Royal County Down Golf Club that morning. Enjoyed drinks with our new found golf friends (also there for the show) after the round. That evening had the most memorable live show I have ever attended. WOW, what a trip. Van played several cuts off this album. This was a bucket list event for me. Nothing else is even close. When I die this album will be played.

What a voice. To quote Tom Waits says, "She's so good she'd make a dead man cum."

Interesting music. Some reggae, some rap and some old tunes done in rap and reggae. Worth listening to. Talented artists.

Fum memories

Much like Baaba Maal, only a little more bluesy. Not bad.

One of two good songs on this album. Probably would not buy it but then I was never a really big JJ fan.
