I've never been a huge Ella fan (prefer Sarah Vaughan / Nina Simone for this style), but I enjoyed this far more than other stuff I've heard from her. It's buttery smooth from track to track. There's a few unusual renditions of standards that I've not heard before; I've never heard I've Got Rhythm with that intro and Someone to Watch Over Me too. Honestly I think the new intro to Someone to Watch Over Me kinda ruins how pretty of a song it is . Overall, I think there's better renditions of these standards. For that reason I'm gonna give it a 2.5 / 5.

I much prefer Funeral, their previous album. Overall I'd say around 25% of the album I thought was enjoyable, while the rest I thought was a little boring.
