Beggars Banquet by The Rolling Stones
Feb 22 2024

The Stones revel in the sounds that make up their roots on this album. All of the songs mesh together with similar chord progressions and arrangements, but somehow manage to paint a darkly dreary, but anachronistic painting of the small town, industrial England of the time.

Back In Black by AC/DC
Feb 23 2024

Brought me back to high school, especially the sounds of the rock 'n roll burnouts, hanging out by their busted cars. It proves that great musicians (which AC/DC all are) can produce excellent music of any genre, including rock.

Moving Pictures by Rush
Feb 26 2024

I love these little visits to my high school years. This is my senior year, and you can hear the little influences of new wave, especially The Police in this album by Rush. They weren't a favorite of mine then, except for a few songs- but I have no problem listening to the superior musicianship of this band these days.
