1001 Albums Summary

It sounded dated. I wasn’t a huge fan when it came out originally and feel the same now.

I haven’t listened to this album in years but I know it well. Very good listen, brought back lots of memories.

Mostly sounded like hotel lobby music. The few tracks that had words were very repetitive. Would have enjoyed the album at about half the length. Good background music.

I don’t normally like to listen to live recordings but I enjoyed this one. Songs were short with just a little talking. Johnny was obviously happy to be performing again.

Not my genre but very listenable. The talking at the end of most songs got a little old. Liked the female voice of the trio.

Unique voices and musical style. Enjoyed some songs but some dragged.

All the songs were too long. The live songs were unnecessary. Not my kind of music.

New band to me. Reminded me a little of REM. I still have no idea what shoegazing is.

I’m not a fan of live albums, but this one was good until the last song. Drum solos are better in person.

The beginning of the album was fun and rocking. Kind of a Rolling Stones vibe. I’ve never listened to the NY dolls before but am glad I was introduced to their music. The rest was ok but nothing too memorable.

Boring

I just don’t like Robert Plant’s voice. Most of the songs could be cut in half. Zeppelin is not my jam.

Good Times is a good song. This is not a great album.

I’ve never heard of this band and now I know why. Not very interesting to me.
