Can imagine this was cool at the time - some iconic songs in there but probably wouldn't relisten. A little dated for me and I would struggle to appreciate it now, even though it's pretty good music in and of itself
Can imagine it's an important album, definitely at the time, but wouldn't relisten. Was cool to hear some original version of songs that have been sampled in other songs (Story of OJ for example), but overall was a little grand/epic for my tastes.
Enjoyed it - definite highs at the start with Brighton Rock and Killer Queen. Very 70's classic rock sound but with a unique spin that Queen brings to their music. As an album it was alright, but had some pretty skippable tracks
Between a 3 and a 4. Very fun and experimental for the time, summer of love vibes and very positive friendly music. Would listen again. Highlights were title track and last of the steam trains
Boring. Couple fun songs in there but the majority all sounded the exact same, no distinguishing features. Did enjoy how each song blended into the next pretty seamlessly though
Really good album, very consistent, perfect length and some very high highs.
Highlights were The Drugs Don't Work, Bittersweet Symphony, Lucky Man, Sonnet, Weeping Willow, Catching the Butterfly
Was okay, not really music I would listen to often but I think it being a live album actually helped me get the vibe a bit better
Not at all what I expected but really enjoyed it, walked a good like between experimental and earworm
Really enjoyed - incredible voice, great catchy songs and very tight album
Meh, fun background music but no songs that I would save to listen to again. One song came on that I thought was cool and saved, and then realized it was from another of their albums.
Really interesting/unique. Would listen again. It's like if Mazzy star was produced by Dr Dre in a weird way
Okay, had a few good songs. Main highlight was Like Dylan in the Movies. I see the appeal but I just feel as though there are better artists in this early indie folk/poetic music that I'd rather listen to (Elliot Smith, Neutral Milk Hotel etc)
Fun and can imagine pretty groundbreaking at the time, some amazing iconic songs on there and ages more gracefully than other hip hope from that sort of time.
Highlights were gangsta gangsta, straight outta Compton and fuck that police
I like Springsteen but this was bad dad music
Was alright background music, nothing special/wouldn't think to put it on again
