1001 Albums Summary

Great album with many varied song styles. Italian restaurant is a classic and the title track is a hidden gem. The album tails off a bit with the last couple of songs but overall, one of Joel’s best works.

Solid album with nice grooves and a vintage sound. Some songs are a bit repetitive, but overall a good listen.

Mostly upbeat with political undertones. Stand and Orange Crush are standout tracks. Interesting use of the mandolin on a few songs.

Not my style of music but can appreciate the vocals. Lots of the songs sound similar but Inner City Blues is a highlight to close it out.

Atmospheric sounds with great solos from Gilmour. Great Gig in the sky is amazing and there are a few other classics. Flows very well overall.
