Abbey Road by Beatles
Jul 19 2024

First time I've actually listened to this. Some incredible songs obviously, and some that are good but not great.

Live At Leeds by The Who
Jul 20 2024

Incredible. The one thing that grabs you listening to this is Keith's drums. It feels like you are getting thumped in the chest with the power through the speakers.

Paranoid by Black Sabbath
Jul 22 2024

Not my usual genre but it's amazing how many songs I already knew. I can see why this was so groundbreaking at the time.

Tracy Chapman by Tracy Chapman
Jul 23 2024

Another incredible record. More like what I can listen to when WFH. The album is a great journey through heartbreaking scenarios and hope.

Brothers by The Black Keys
Jul 24 2024

Good album with some great tracks. Not one I'll rush back to though.

Le Tigre by Le Tigre
Jul 25 2024

Love the start so far, Deceptacon is a great tune and the pace keeps ups into Hot Topic. Great album again and one I will go back to.

Blue Lines by Massive Attack
Jul 26 2024

The more I listened the more I loved it.

The Downward Spiral by Nine Inch Nails
Jul 27 2024

A lot rawkier than my usual playlist but some great songs. Doesn't sound 20 years old.

Apocalypse Dudes by Turbonegro
Jul 28 2024

Didn't listen to this all the way through. A lot heavier than I usually listen to.

Red Headed Stranger by Willie Nelson
Jul 30 2024

Never listened to Willie before but really enjoyed this.

Buena Vista Social Club by Buena Vista Social Club
Jul 31 2024

Definitely not my usual type of dog walking music. Felt like I was in an episode of Narcos but enjoyed it all the same. Probably won't go back but you never know.

Car Wheels On A Gravel Road by Lucinda Williams
Aug 01 2024

Quite a long album so didn't finish but very enjoyable and added to the return to list.

Ready To Die by The Notorious B.I.G.
Aug 02 2024

It was ok. Not the greatest hip hop album I've ever heard. Probably won't listen again.

Stripped by Christina Aguilera
Aug 09 2024

Great voice but not my usual style.

Natty Dread by Bob Marley & The Wailers
Aug 13 2024

Classic that I will return to

Californication by Red Hot Chili Peppers
Aug 17 2024

This was the album that launched them into a stadium band. Had it tears ago and played it to the death, not listened for years but loved it. Showed how good they could be on their day.

Suede by Suede
Aug 18 2024

Not a massive Suede fan but this was a fantastic license on a Saturday while I made breakfast.

Blood On The Tracks by Bob Dylan
Aug 20 2024

I've never listened, I mean a full album in one sitting, to Bob and my first listen made me think why. Whiney voice, incoherent lyrics and terrible harmonica. I then gave it a 2nd blast and actually really enjoyed it. I think familiarisation and becoming more tuned to the tracks made it more understandable. Definitely going back to this.

Guitar Town by Steve Earle
Aug 22 2024

Run of the mill C&W album. Some good tunes but nothing extraordinary.
