Violent Femmes
Violent FemmesA few good songs. I liked the guitar, but got repetitive. Vocals were annoying after a couple tracks. Couldn’t wait for the album to end.

If I could give it a 6 I would. The OG Kings of Metal. I’ve always loved this album.
Liked it a lot, very jazzy, lots of stand up bass. Good beats.
Really liked it, great beats, old school lyrics. Fun album.
God level talent
This one was hard to choose between 3 or 4, id give it a 3.5 if I could. I find Stipes vocals to be very hit or miss. Some songs I really enjoyed but others did nothing for me. The guitar and drums are average for the genre and time period.
Really liked this, funky, jazzy, sexy.
Pretty hard to beat Clapton, great album all the way through in every way
Actually pretty interesting, very engaging, lots to focus on, definitely will get another couple listens to hear it all.
Musically, instrumentally it was fine. Didn’t enjoy the vocals though. 80s are my least favourite decade for music. Didn’t hate it but didnt like it.
Pretty solid album all the way through, great instrumentals and vocals, some really good riffs and drum fills mixed in
Honestly I’ve never been a big fan of the Stones, which is blasphemy in my house. It was a little too honky tonk. Good sound though.
I’m usually not a fan of 80s pop/rock, but I really liked this album. Great sound, synthy and gothy
I love Brian Eno, first album I’ve heard of his with his vocals so that was really interesting.
Really loved this album, great production and sampling. Great beats and vocals. Really cool to hear Chali 2na, where I’d only heard him before on the Linkin Park track Frgt/10, really cool nostalgia there.
It was alright, there are better hip hop albums from the same era, maybe a little too raw and juvenile for me.
It’s okay, not really my thing. Some stand outs but nothing did a whole lot for me instrumentally or vocally.
I’m really not a fan of Dylan, I find his vocals flat out annoying, and every one of his songs sounds the same. However he can play the shit out if that harmonica, which I love. Great instrumentals, no denying that.
I love this era of beck. Beautiful instrumentals mixed with his hauntingly calm voice.
The trend of hating 80s music continues. Did nothing for me.
Interesting all the way through, not really my thing but can’t say a lot bad or good.
Great album all the way through. Beautiful voice and lyrics. Loved all the piano.
Interesting album. Lots going on. Not my thing though.
Great album, iconic voice, killed the harmonica. Great guitar and lyrics.
One of my favourite Kanye albums, great beats and samples. Wild lyrics.
Really great, fun album. Will definitely get some replays and I’m interested in checking out more of their stuff.
Musically a good album, she has a great voice. Not my kind of music but still good.
Iconic group, trailer blazers, instrumentally great.
If I could give this album 6 stars I would. Frank Ocean changed the way I listened to music in my 20s. His music got me through some dark times and some bright times. Absolutely love this album. Frank can do no wrong. Musically, vocally, lyrically outstanding.
