Engage all 25,000 in-ear nerve-endings. Listen to it, savor it, soar it up. The high notes, that energy. Pure soul. Angelic. Mmm. That's a ten!
Not sure if it's the remastering or what it is, but this sounded a bit flat to me. It has got some really cool guitar riffs, and the drumming is not too shabby. Overall it is a pretty good album, but the sound is a little bit too flat to my tastes. Maybe the "remastering" is to blame? As it so often is. I also learned that Snowblind is not a System of a Down song, which is pretty damn cool!
Some chill, jazzy tunes. Very enjoyable!
A bit subpar.
Please make it end.
Kind of like ABBA, but worse?
It sounds nice, but it's mostly ballads. It's not bad, just boring.
The vocals, the sound, the crisp bass lines. What an amazing album!
Quite enjoyable album that's easy to listen to, but not bucket-list worthy.
While Ray Charles' talent is on full display on this album, showcasing his amazing vocals and overall musical ability, it still falls short of greatness due to being quite samey throughout. When you've heard the first few tracks on this album, you've sort of heard them all.
Didn't finish. The vocals are outright painful to listen to.
Cool riffs, full sound. Pretty enjoyable throughout. Liked this one much better than vol. 4.
I've never heard this album before, yet it felt like I've heard it a million times before. It's not bad or anything, it's just incredibly boring. It almost feels like an insult that this album can be found on a list with the likes of Pink Floyd and Aretha Franklin.
Recognized some of the songs, which was kind of nice, but overall this album turned out to be a little bit boring.
Immediately liked the mellow piano intro and jazzy vibes, but it quickly got a bit samey, and therefore a little bit lackluster as a dedicated listening experience. Overall, it was quite enjoyable, except for the last track, which was kind of terrible.
