Grungy debut from foo, loved Big Me a lot and for all the cows too. it feels a bit too similar to what nirvana and other acts were doing. Props to their endurance and presence, but I think it's just the start for them.
Fantastical, and jazzy at times, it's a incredibly fun listen... Experimental and patient too, love the drawn out middle on Moonchild, what a special song
Shit day, got let go. I gotta be honest, it's not going to be easy to shake that association, but overall it's pretty alright. There are some iconic songs and I love Jamie XX, but this album also felt a bit too monotonous to really love it deeply.

Overall, I'm kinda like 💤💤💤 but I liked Insect Eyes and Will Is My Friend. I like maybe this slice of folk is not for me and that's ok, Devandra has a couple great songs and I'm onboard to listen to more, just after I take a lil snoooooze... Love the album art, has a sort of tribal occult vibe a la midsommar
