Great first showing for a game changing band. Some of the lyrics are pretty batty. Marat’s bathing??? I love Radio Free Europe, Pilgrimage, Sitting Still, 9-9. I’ll be listening to this one again.

I get the rancor, a lot of how you feel about this album is going to come down to what you think about the vocals — Nico’s voice and affectation. Otherwise, I find it to be a sometimes pedestrian, sometimes interesting folk and art pop album. Personally I like her voice and it was a chill vibe, so I dig it. But I can see why it would be divisive. Seems pretty average IMO.
