At San Quentin by Johnny Cash
Nov 04 2024

I LOVE Johnny Cash. I remember listening to it on 8 track tapes in my dad’s car as a kid. To have a musician tour prisons to perform is so mind blowingly awesome. Imagining what those gigs must have felt like for inmates. Johnny Cash was such a proper bloke that understood the misadventures of men. Great to hear

Abbey Road by Beatles
Nov 07 2024

An exploration of wonderful warm melodies. Perhaps an example of the best soulful melodic compositions ever- and some well known songs. Wow

The Fat Of The Land by The Prodigy
Nov 08 2024

I’ve not heard this album for ages and I didn’t think it traveled through time well. I remember the confrontation of it (And Keith Flint!) when it came out. A pioneering sound and a timeless character. Less sonic than I remember

Tres Hombres by ZZ Top
Nov 10 2024

Classic band. I love the sound. Songs on this album are a bit samey- other than the rich groove on La Grange.

Figure 8 by Elliott Smith
Nov 18 2024

A great overall sound. Real craft

Rumours by Fleetwood Mac
Nov 19 2024

Love it. Super album for anyone

Morrison Hotel by The Doors
Nov 21 2024

Love it. Super album for anyone

...And Justice For All by Metallica
Nov 22 2024

Great band and such incredible intricate brilliance. but this album has dated for me. I think the sonic Tour de Force of the ‘Black Album’ will never be surpassed.

Nov 24 2024

Christian music. I’m a fan of the simple ethics and the yearning for a wholesome life. A comforting sound that easy to listen to

At Newport 1960 by Muddy Waters
Nov 27 2024

Nice rootsy original sound. A different world that you can almost taste through listening to this.

Pink Moon by Nick Drake
Dec 24 2024

I like Nick Drakes earlier album Northern Sky which was posthumously reproduced to include percussion and other melodies. Pink Moon feels like an earlier peice of work. Only the title track left an impression.
