1001 Albums Summary

This is gonna take awhile. Listened to most of it running at mission bay. Found a couple new favorite tracks like Galapogos and Bodies.

Still my second favorite Iron Maiden album behind powerslave. Favorite track is hallowed be thy name.

Not totally sure if I’ve heard this before but heard a couple other Bob Marley projects. Listened to it while running around Clairemont. Pretty chill nice listen but not too many standout tracks.

Haven’t heard this one before. Didn’t get all the way through but liking it quite a bit so far.

Haven’t heard this one before and surprisingly only know Self Esteem and Come Out and Play. Very generic and annoying. Not a super long album but it feels like an eternity.

Don’t think I’ve heard this before. I saw them live and felt like every song was somewhat repetitive and dragged out. I felt similarly about the album. It wasn’t bad, but it didn’t vary enough to keep things interesting. Burning is a great song still.

One of the best thrash albums of all time. Love every song.

Haven’t heard this Pogues album but own Rum Sodomy & the Lash on vinyl. Listened while running at Mission Bay and it was nice but no real standouts.

Own this on cd and vinyl. One of my favorite singer songwriter albums ever.

Never heard this one. Didn’t know any songs going into it but really liked the vibe throughout. Reminded me of Seventeen Seconds by The Cure but more upbeat. Enjoyed it more than Power, Corruption & Lies.

I’ve heard this but I still only remember the hits. I still hate Bad Blood. Enjoyed it more than I was expecting.

Not bad but not something I’d probably go back to anytime soon.

Never heard it before but know the singles. Pretty solid, I feel like it could grow on me.

Never even heard of this but I liked it quite a bit. The only problem is it’s super front loaded. The vocals are really unique.

Classic Kinks album. My second favorite behind Something Else.

Really liked this one. The lyrics were great at painting a picture of the South. Favorite tracks were Louisiana, Rednecks, and the Marie Demo.

Some decent songs but it felt way too long for what it was.

One of his best albums. Title track is a classic and the outro song Jungleland is amazing.

Pretty nice Christmas album. Better than most modern Christmas hits.
