Illmatic by Nas
Feb 12 2025

Standout track, “Life’s a bitch”

Feb 13 2025

Very familiar with this album, all time classic and though I’m too young to have witnessed it first hand, I understand how groundbreaking this album was in terms of the recording process in general and in the Beatles own story

L.A. Woman by The Doors
Feb 14 2025

Songs are very long!

Parachutes by Coldplay
Feb 15 2025

There was a time where I didn’t dislike Coldplay….and it was this first album

Out Of The Blue by Electric Light Orchestra
Feb 16 2025

It’s fine…probably could have used some editing

All Things Must Pass by George Harrison
Feb 17 2025

The first half plus is brilliant….really plods along with some tracks that could have been cut toward the end of the album

Are You Experienced by Jimi Hendrix
Feb 18 2025

The first album on this list that I didn’t just have to “appreciate”…an album that sounded as good as anything else I’ve ever heard, and one I will continue to listen to strictly for enjoyment rather than for any other lofty minded purposes

New Forms by Roni Size
Feb 19 2025

Too long and repetitive, felt like I was listening to a soundtrack from an old video game …not for me

Violator by Depeche Mode
Feb 20 2025

Some really cool tricks and I appreciate the quality…but this sound just isn’t something I would seek out

Suede by Suede
Feb 21 2025

My first time listening to Suede, despite growing up on a large diet of Oasis (with sides of Elastica and Blur)…this was different and better than what I was expecting

You Want It Darker by Leonard Cohen
Feb 22 2025

Oh it was dark…very significant album given the timeline
