1001 Albums Summary

Tom Sawyer is such an upbeat yet calming song. Truly perfect for all situations. 10/10 Red Barchetta is a fun dancing song, I can totally see it being played at school dances in the 80s. 10/10. YYZ is definitely one of those songs you “air drum” to. And I am SO here for it! 10/10 I don’t know how to explain it but Limelight gives off Surender x Under Pressure vibes. I am LOVING this man’s vocals. 10/10 The Camera Eye is slow at first but picks up BIG TIME. Worth the ten minutes 10/10 Witch Hunt gave cool magic vibes and I was here for it 10/10 Vital signs had a techno beat and it reminded me of a song that would be in TTG. Lowkey digging it. 10/10 5/5

Definitely has its highs and lows, there are a few songs I probably wouldn’t listen to again, some I would listen to, but not put in my playlist, and some that I’ve put on my playlist. Solid 3 star album, not as high as Rumours.

Uh oh Love Comes to Town: Vocals are questionable in my opinion, but the bass line is SEXY. 😻. New feeling: vocals match the instrumentals a bit better this song. Tentative Feels: feels tingly to listen to, skipped. Happy Day: lowk really peaceful. Who is it?: vocals feel off again. Very repetitive, had to skip this one. No Compassion: has similar vibes to New Feeling. Skipped the rest of the album cause I was getting bored. Overall a fairly slow album, but no hate to those who like it! Might try listening again in the future.
