Music to wander to, watch the wind and feel the sun. Saturday Sun and Man in a Shed standouts
Relaxing, sounds to smoke to while the rain falls overhead
Soothing company for a night time road trip. Could do without the flute. Standouts; And It Stoned Me, Moondance, Crazy Love, Into the Mystic, These dreams of you, Brand New Day.
Music to shred to, good for stacking it and getting back up while your blood and sweat mix together. Guitar riff in Do you Compute and Human Interest is tight. Rhythm on New Intro and Sinews (both versions) is clean and is a welcome breath between the electric shocks, well placed tracks in the albums flow. Bullet train to Vegas favourite track on album.
I recognise the talent of the ensemble but I not my cup of tea. Favourite instruments is the guitar and keyboard, feels like the thread weaving together the album so the horns can shine
Production of this albums shows that Adele can turn heart break into an anthem, a bop and a track that manifests that lone tear sneaking its way from your heart and onto your cheek. Tracks range from long goodbyes, painful reminiscences, fire to fight for what you love and sprinkled with a hope for the future. Standouts:!Hello, Send my love, When we were young, Water under the bridge, Remedy, Love in the dark, Million years ago
Album feels like the final plea of hope and commitment between old lovers. Delicate guitar riffs and piano capture the eternity that passes when you’re trying to find the right words to say goodbye. Standouts: don’t know why, cold cold heart, come away with me, shoot the moon, turn me on, the long day is over
This album is good company as you head home after a late night of mucking up. Guitar riffs and drum rhythm feel like sweat cooling on your skin in the night air as you march home. Lyrics capture the essence of being a young person finding your place in the world, while shoving it to the system flanking your rebellion Elevate me later, Stop Breathin, Cut your hair, Unfair, Gold Soundz, Range Life
Listening to this felt like I was laying on a beach in mars, watching three suns set over a rising moon. Standouts: Rio, Hungry like a wolf and New Religion
This album feels like punk-rock for the conservative and nerdy crowd, a safe dip of the toe into the world of rebels and riots. Punk-rock straight from the church juke box. Standouts; Miracle Man and Less than Zero
This album felt like being trapped at an empty disco on a night that never ends. No body is dancing, nobody is talking, everyone is just looking for the door. Guitar riffs were the only aspect of the sound I enjoyed.
The bass and lyrics have gotten better with time; Wine. Makes me feel like I’m riding through a melting pot stacked with busy city streets, the colours of different cultures glowing amongst the greyscale streets No skips
