The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill
Lauryn HillA great discovery, I listened to Lauryn Hill before but it was the first time listening to this album. She is so talented, and I really enjoyed how she went from one genre to another.

Although I do enjoy brit rock, this was not my cup of tea. A chaotic album that had a few good things ("Song 2" still is a great song!) but overall was a pain to listen to.
This album was a nice discovery, as I only knew the title Purple Rain. It's coherent, the title order is perfect, it is so pleasant to hear, a true gem I know I'll find myself listening again for sure.
Like a warm embrace for your soul, it just is the perfect album to listen whether you’re high or not. Would have appreciated for it to last longer.
I see it more as an artistic statement than enjoyable music. I guess it needs to exist for greater things to be created afterwards. Dare I say some parts aren't THAT insufferable? Also, it reminded me of Lou Reed's Metal Machine Music.
A nice discovery, never heard of the guy and will listen to again
I really like country, but I had a hard time finding what made this album stand out — it felt pretty standard and just ticked the usual boxes.
Inspired but all I heard was wanna be Nirvanas that had too much to drink
One of the only live albums I truly enjoy, and also my favorite teeshirt.
Hard to rate, as I really despise Kanye West but I truly think he is musically talented and I admit I really like some of these songs, perhaps because I grew up with them. However, I realized how much his character showed in the lyrics and I found myself frowning multiple times.
Really enjoyed this album as I've never even heard of the guy. However, it was off to a great start and slowly became a bit too messy for my taste. It definitely should not have that many tracks. Did Todd forgot that less is more?
