Here, My Dear
Marvin GayeThis review was written after the first listening: nice album but i guess it could have been better...? I find it a bit long, the production is good but lacks of intensity for me. Of course it's clean, it's Marvin Gaye we are talking about. Maybe it's one of those album you need to listen a few times to like/love it - to see the truly charm of it. I think I can put 'Here, My Dear' (the album, not the song) on the background while doing something else, i will enjoy it, but I will not listen to it if I want to truly listen to music (does it make sense?). Again, I usually don't give a review right away (only when I'm sure I truly understand an album) so I don't believe my opinion is right or perfect in any way. I need 2/3 listening often but whatever... This album is long so, I'm not sure I will listening to it again right away. But it's still a very nice record.
