One of my least favourite of led zeppelin. Understandable since it's their first album, my personal favourite is led zeppelin ll. But my favourite song on this album is Your Time Is Gonna Come
Not so good , best song I'd say is Welfare Mothers, but it sounds oddly similar to Tie Your Mother Down of Queen....never been a big fan of Neil Young, but I have been trying to enjoy him more these days so I was pretty happy getting this album, and then I was kind of disappointed. Not horrible by any means of course! Just not my kind of music really..
Favorites: Hotwax, Lord Only Knows, Jack-Ass, Sissyneck
Favorite: Changes
Beautiful album, even after first listen! Lots of inspiration from Sting throughout this album as well as David Bowie's Hunky Dory in Money For Nothing. My favourite album from Dire Straits for some time now! From the story telling in Your Latest Trick to the uplifting melody of So Far Away, this album is simply beautifully crafted and represents perfectly the passage of time between friends and family
So interesting to learn the story of this album when I've heard so many bits and pieces throughout movies and such! Truly inspiring
In the first half, I was gonna give it 5 stars, but I personally got progressively bored after the Tell The Truth. Still, incredible album, favorite song is Bell Bottom Blues
Wish I could rate it a 4.8 because it's beautiful, just didn't enjoy every single song fully so I can't give it a 5 but I do believe it's higher than a 4! If not for 1 or 2 songs this would be a perfect 10, favorite songs are Soft Shock and Little Shadow
Favorite song, A Bunch of Lonesome Heroes
🤦♀️
More of a 4.5, favorite: you're gonna make me lonesome when you go
I liked this album more than I expected! Favorite: Wish You Well
