Arrival by ABBA
May 19 2025

Surprised how many songs are about breaking up or not being with the right person. Always thought of ABBA as fun and upbeat but they definitely have some dramatic songs as well. I’d rate it a 3.75. I like the music but I wouldn’t find myself wanting to play this on repeat

Horses by Patti Smith
May 20 2025

Not for me. 1.5. Wouldn’t listen to again. Some songs are okay but I couldn’t get into it. Had to turn birdland off halfway through that was more than enough for me.

Machine Head by Deep Purple
May 21 2025

Love it!!! They feature solos for all their instruments which I think is great. Lots of guitar, bass and key solos. Looooong songs but they rock! I kept finding myself turning the volume up louder. Would like to own for sure. Was nice hearing what else they have to offer other than smoke on the water, and so many of their songs are better and deserve more recognition

Ready To Die by The Notorious B.I.G.
May 23 2025

Some iconic hits on here but overall as far as an album goes some of the interludes didn’t feel necessary lol. 3.5 rounded to 4

Physical Graffiti by Led Zeppelin
May 24 2025

It’s Led Zeppelin. It will never not be good.

System Of A Down by System Of A Down
May 25 2025

Classic System of a Down. Nothing to write home about for me but it’s fun. I appreciate the odd rhythms and drum beats for sure and the unique vocal sound especially the falsettos. 3.5

Let It Be by The Replacements
May 26 2025

Sounded like an album that would be playing at the record store while I looked through the selection. 3 stars

In Rainbows by Radiohead
May 28 2025

I like it. Very moody and progressive. It’s like rainy day music but in a good way. Really like the instruments and the overall vibe/sound.

Fire Of Love by The Gun Club
May 29 2025

I like the sound but all the songs sounded the same to me

It's A Shame About Ray by The Lemonheads
May 30 2025

Classic 90s sounding band for sure. Never heard of them. Was a fun listen

Modern Kosmology by Jane Weaver
Jun 01 2025

Chill! Never heard of this artist before. I liked it

Drunk by Thundercat
Jun 02 2025

As weird as this was I kinda dug it. I liked the vibe. Very easy listening. Some cool featured artists I wasn’t expecting. Lyrics were a little weird I wasn’t sure if this was satire or legit but yanno what I kinda liked it.

Deep Purple In Rock by Deep Purple
Jun 03 2025

Not as good as their album machine head but still good

Cloud Nine by The Temptations
Jun 06 2025

Great! Didnt expect it to be as funky and finger snappy as it was

Violator by Depeche Mode
Jun 09 2025

Repetitive sound

Go Girl Crazy by The Dictators
Jun 15 2025

3.5 - fun to hear punk rock sound pre punk rock era
