Some lyrics were questionable and laughable. Especially in the song Master Race Rock. This is my first ever rock album I've sat down and listened. The album didn't have a ton of substance although it didn't overstay it's welcome and had enough variety across the 9 tracks to make it an enjoyable album, however not something I am likely to return to. Favourite song was the intro track The Next Big Thing. Enjoyed California Sun and Two Tub Man as well.
Lets Get It On has an amazing vocal performance from Gaye on smooth and satisfying instrumentals. I loved this album, very easy and enjoyable listening. Lyrics are super sex-infused especially in the title track. If I Should Die Tonight and You Sure Love To Ball are personal highlights of the album.
A calming pop and jazz fusion. Quite easy listening. Beautiful voice and instrumentals however after the first half the album runs out of tricks. I can’t call this album boring though as I surprisingly enjoyed the soothingness each song. Highlights: Come Away With Me, Painter Song, The Nearness of You
Alt rock is not something i personally enjoy and Surfer Rosa does not change that for me. one song was talking about me btw (big big log). Instruments just sound like an ejaculation of different notes, sounding uninspired with little direction. I thought Where is My Mind was alright.
I did not expect to enjoy this album. Loved the Britishness.
Very standard and by the numbers 70 rock. Highlight was the heavenly intro to track 2 (which lasted about 1.5 seconds until i realised Location Playboi Cart was accidentally queued). Towards the end of the 8 song tracklist i even began thinking of what to listen to next. A 1 is too harsh because i sat through it all and didnt want to turn it off.
Boring. Didnt finish. Stop giving me dad rock
Lowkey enjoyed it. From what I have heard I thought it would have sounded like The Smiths. Contemplated adding the Jigsaw Falling Into Place into a playlist.
Very heavy album with great delivery. Ominous and impending doomy atmosphere as Cohen passed away just over two weeks after the album was released. Lyrics shows Cohen’s grapple with his near death. An album I enjoyed but will most likely not relisten.
Boring and all sounded the same. Didnt finish this marathon of a snoozefest

Sounded like generic rock, which usually isnt my thing, but I did enjoy listening to it. Vocals were good as well
Wasnt amazing, wasnt awful. Rap had to move on bro I couldnt listen to this all the time. Thank god for the brilliant minds of Kanye and Carti 💕
