Mothership Connection by Parliament

This is why I started going through this list. Killer album I’ve never heard of in a genre I never listen to. Such a fun listen

The Wall by Pink Floyd
Jun 02 2025

Not the first time I’ve listened, but it’s obviously a great album. The production is great and there are some classics here. Not my usual genre of choice and a bit long for my taste.

Brothers In Arms by Dire Straits
Jun 03 2025

Not one I need to listen to again. It’s a good album, doesn’t stand out for me.

Iron Maiden by Iron Maiden
Jun 04 2025

Not my favorite Maiden album, but undeniably a classic. A really great debut.

The Fat Of The Land by The Prodigy
Jun 05 2025

This one surprised me, much more enjoyable than I thought it would be!

Jun 06 2025

Easy listening, but nothing groundbreaking here. Some good poppy riffs but a pretty generic sound overall. I think this gets reviewed highly due to the nostalgia it provides people who grew up with it.

Jun 09 2025

Historically a very important album and helped define progressive rock. With that said, it has never blown me away and this listen was no different.

At San Quentin by Johnny Cash
Jun 10 2025

Johnny is great, especially on live recordings. Great crowd energy and banter. Not as good as Folsom prison for me, but great nonetheless.

Veckatimest by Grizzly Bear
Jun 11 2025

Not a stand out for me. I think I would want this playing in the background if I owned a trendy coffee shop.

Ctrl by SZA
Jun 12 2025

I can’t seem to think of a reason why this album is on this list. Overproduced and generic, tons of autotune, and awful lyrics.

Pet Sounds by The Beach Boys
Jun 13 2025

Always fun to revisit this one. Perfect album from start to finish. RIP Brian Wilson

Mothership Connection by Parliament
Jun 16 2025

This is why I started going through this list. Killer album I’ve never heard of in a genre I never listen to. Such a fun listen

The Köln Concert by Keith Jarrett
Jun 17 2025

Good for what it is I suppose, not my cup of tea. It was fairly enjoyable to have on in the background while working, but probably not something I’ll revisit.

Rumours by Fleetwood Mac
Jun 18 2025

This sounds like a greatest hits album. Bangers from start to finish.

Scissor Sisters by Scissor Sisters
Jun 19 2025

Album was fine, easy to listen to

Two Dancers by Wild Beasts
Jun 20 2025

This album was probably pretty cool in 2009, now there’s a hundred bands doing this exact shoegaze-indie sound. Decent album, didn’t blow me away.

Tidal by Fiona Apple
Jun 24 2025

Decent album, had a couple of songs that I enjoyed.

Soul Mining by The The
Jun 26 2025

Great album! Piano on Uncertain Smile was amazing, pleasantly surprised by this one.

Guero by Beck
Jun 27 2025

I’m impressed every time I listen to Beck. Should really listen to Beck more often.

Parachutes by Coldplay
Jul 04 2025

This album doesn’t need to be on this list, boring and generic
