Last song was the best Loved the blues at the beginning Got a bit heavy in the middle RIP Jim Had never heard the whispered vocal in there before. Genius.

Dig some of some instrumentation but Joni’s voice just grated on us after a couple of tracks.

Only made it a couple tracks in, wasn’t really our thing. Bit much, sounds dated.

It’s just cool isn’t it? Love & Affection clearly the standout here but there’s actually some other really strong tracks. Down to Zero, Join the Boys, Somebody Who Loves You all really good. Tall in the Saddle a great closer!

Great record! First side is pretty much back to back bangers. Second side is… challenging. Overall a rewarding and worthwhile listen.

Only made it a couple of songs in. We weren’t fans back in the day but decided to give it a go. Just didn’t really land with us.

Love R.E.M! Great album with some all time classics on it. Really nice instrumentation and lots of different textures.

Love it. The guitars shine and Richman’s tongue in cheek delivery remains one of the most unique and idiosyncratic vocals in rock and roll.
