Bitches Brew by Miles Davis
Jun 11 2025

Excelent songs, such as sanctuary, Pharaoh's Dance., They're my favourites. Extremely impressive, inovative and experimental. Some moments are way too experimental for me, with a weird jazz fusion vibes. Some songs left me feeling "anxious", unsettled. Problaby by design (so many things happening at once) Long songs, which was algo a surprise. Overall, excelent discovery, and great way to start. Problably I won't listen to every song or the whole album very often, but some songs for sure will enter my regular playlists for working focus.

Abattoir Blues / The Lyre of Orpheus by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds
Jun 12 2025

Long album. Never heard of Nick Cave, pleasant surprise! Not my cup of tea, the genre is a "folk/indie rock/experimental". There are a few good tracks, and in general a good instrumental, with great guitar and bass. But I cant't get over the vocal performance. I'm not a fan of his voice and style of singing. Out of all the songs, I guess i enjoyed the most the songs with a more lyrical tone, such as. Get Ready for Love, Messiah Ward, There She Goes My Beautiful World, Nature Boy. Didn't enjoy both title tracks, however.

Smile by Brian Wilson
Jun 13 2025

I enjoy The Beach Boys, but I'm not a huge fan. This album is great for a great fan od the Beach Boys, but since I'm not, it sounds like a bad album from a band I kinda like. It is easy to see the effort, sound quality, production and composition effort, but it's not for me. Our Prayer/Gee was a great song, my favorite so far. joyful, the album name is on point (SMILE!)

Nilsson Schmilsson by Harry Nilsson
Jun 16 2025

Actually sounds like the Beatles, incredible. Great songwritting, great compositions. Actually think i might come back for this album. My favorites: Gotta get up, The moonbeam song, Down, Without you, Jump into the fire, let the good times roll.

In Rainbows by Radiohead
Jun 17 2025

Great surprise, didn't think I'd enjoy it as much as I did. Excelent tracks, nice drums and bass, and delighful guitars. I agree with a few critics that I've read: it all seems like one long song. But It's not a deal breaker for me. I've favorited many songs from it, excelent discovery! Wouldn't listen if not for this project

Debut by Björk
Jun 18 2025

Honestly, I thought I'd like it more. It totally didn't get to me. Not a single song caught me. I think I was open, trying to like it, but just didn't happen. It's a bummer, such an iconic album and album cover. I guess it isn't for me.

Central Reservation by Beth Orton
Jun 19 2025

Good album overall. Not my favorite genre, but her voice is amazing, the songwritting is excellent as well.

Porcupine by Echo And The Bunnymen
Jun 20 2025

Ok, excellent opener. Brings me back to the 80's. Kinda of sounds like a more complex and diverse "Your love", "I ran" kinda of song. Excellent bass, nice voice. Positively surprised.

Sign 'O' The Times by Prince
Jun 23 2025

I thought I'd like more this album. Prince seems to be an incredible artist that I didn't have the opportunity to check out. Well, it turned out I didn't like this album. It feels very "all over the place", it lasts more than it should. So many no-rememberable songs. I think I only enjoyed one song to a point of giving it a like. Bummer The instrumental slaps, very groovy and funky. But it didn't get to me.

Blackstar by David Bowie
Jun 24 2025

I've only listened to a few Bowie songs, the most famous ones. This is the first album that I've listened from beginning to end. Well, it is not good. It's very avan-garde, jazzy, almost fusion-like, with a lot of inovation and experimentation. But it seems a little bit without directions. No song stood out for me.

Fleet Foxes by Fleet Foxes
Jun 25 2025

Ok, this one got me by surprise. It is surprisingly good. I am not an major fan of folk, but this one may change my mind. Vocal harmonies are on point, excelent instrumentation, so many unique sounds. Excelent album, short songs but they seem to go by even faster with their quality. The songs are similar, but they defenitely don't sound the same, you know what I mean? They have the same feel, but each has it own unique flavour. Favourite songs: White Winter Hymnal (excellent, wow! gave me goosebumps!) Your Protector Blue Ridge Mountains

Darkdancer by Les Rythmes Digitales
Jun 26 2025

Not my cup of tea. Could be good, but I'm not in the mood

Mothership Connection by Parliament
Jun 27 2025

Excellent grooves, very funky. I won't say that I would listen to it every day, but in the right mood it is great, absolutely great

American Idiot by Green Day
Jun 30 2025

what else to say? It's excellent.

Come Away With Me by Norah Jones
Jul 01 2025

This album started strong! Great song, brings me back to my teenage years. Always treated it as a one-hit-wonder. Let's see the rest of the album... (but this one already gives it a 2 star). It is a calm album. Reminds me of something like jack johnson. Well, not so many interesting songs, but it's calm. I guess I'll give it a two

Can't Buy A Thrill by Steely Dan
May 14 2026

Cool album, with cool tracks. Steely Dan is a nice discovery. Here, there is a song made as response to Imagine, by John Lennon. Very interesting! Favourite songs: Do it again, Only a fool would say, Change the Guard

The Wildest! by Louis Prima
May 15 2026

Good album. A bit repetitive, always that walking bassline, but it's a classic and it created a clichê. I'm just a gigolo is a great song

Ready To Die by The Notorious B.I.G.
May 18 2026

Great album. The beginning didn't get me, but the last songs are FIRE. Awesome tracklist.

Sincere by Mj Cole
May 21 2026

Not my cup of tea, actually. Drum and bass and some vocals over it, but I'ts not the best
