Rust In Peace
MegadethToo many riffs, too many solos that sound exactly the same. The progressive structures were cool but I think it would have been less intense to include some more conventionally composed songs to even the album. A lot of the songs felt too long. The guitar tone is like vanilla good, its good but its nothing new. Production is soooo boring like every song is composed in the same kinda vibe so varying up the production could have saved this record, instead the latter half just blurred into one big riff - the songs are linearly composed often so its hard to notice when one ends and the other begins. Despite all the complaining, the songs were well written if a bit samey. The vocal melodies were cool (even tho Dave sucks at singing). So not the worst record ever. I'm not really a metal guy. So it was a bit boring for me. But if you're into thrash this is a solid record.
