1001 Albums Summary

Matt Bellamy can't seem to stop ascending the harmonic minor scale

Combines the lack of teeth from 70s sorta rock with the dissonance of of 90s/00s without producing anything particularly interesting. Maybe I'm just not in the mood for it

Pretty much what I expected. His voice is not amazing in this

Fun dance/electronica. Still pretty chill, enjoyable listen. Don't know how often itll be in rotation, but definitely higher than most 3s

Chill, melodic rock. Very enjoyable, not particularly memorable

Bit of a tough listen tbh. Maybe I'm too soft but a lotta the lyrics are just kinda icky. The sound is obviously still iconic and a couple songs are classics

Lots going on. Great sound. Some tracks would fit well coming out of a crackly record player in a haunted house

Really cool sound! Some of the horns alternate between beautiful and cacophonous depending on how I'm feeling. Would listen again but less likely than some chiller jazz, so mid 3

Doesn't hit as hard the Joshua tree, still an enjoyable listen I could see myself coming back to
