The Scream by Siouxsie And The Banshees
Jun 27 2025

First half is a bit rough but I like the 2nd half a lot more. This band is kinda sick like they literally influenced every alt band under the sun. And in every song you can hear all the bits and pieces that were eventually taken to build the sound of bands like the cure Cocteau twins MBV it's kinda sick. But it does feel like those groups developed that sound a bit better so on retrospect this album doesn't feel as groundbreaking but it's still a cool listen imo. Fav: switch

Kinda doesnt do it for me. Faux-jazz pop just is that interesting to me and a lot of songs are good but I just forget them immediately or get annoyed by the bee boo bee da doos. But the production is very good and every once and a while a song gets everything together. Fav: You sent me Flying/Cherry
