Don't Stand Me Down
Dexys Midnight RunnersVery boring, and actually kind of annoying. I'm surprised it's on this list.

Sounded unique since its not Western music. Not bad at all but not my taste.
Sounds like funky elevator music, or hipster coffee shop music.
My favorite Temptations songs aren’t on this Album. Good evening background music, but actively listening to it nothing stands out much.
HEE-HEE! I like thriller much better.
Really solid 3/5. Fun listen. Longview, Welcome to Paradise, Basket Case, & When I Come Around are timeless classics, a lot of the rest of the album drags for me, especially near the end. “She” has a neat opening base line that I haven’t heard before.
Amazing that Bowie made this Album while he knew he was dying. It comes through in the music, so haunting.
Never heard before. Love the guitar riffs on the first song. The singing kinda reminds me of The Talking Heads.
I loved the Beastie Boys in high school, but I've really lost my taste for them since then. They have some really cool beats and sounds. I like the Zeppelin samples.
Very punky and groovy, but not really my taste. I’d give a 2.5.
This came up as my album the day after Ozzy died. This Album doesn’t have the biggest hits, but it’s more cohesive and psychedelic than other Sabbath albums.
I don’t think I’ve ever heard of the genre “Noise Rock”. Not bad, actually pretty good. Almost sounded like electronic music. Had a very psychedelic element to it that I liked.
Love Sunday Bloody Sunday and New Year's Day. The rest doesn't stand out much to me.
The song Starman is singularly responsible for getting me back into rock music in my mid-teens after hearing it in "The Martian". I will be forever thankful to Bowie for saving me from modern music. Bowie isn't just one of the best musicians of all time, he's one of the most creative artists of all time. This album will always be a 5/5 for me.
Sounds like hipster music.
Good but not my taste.
Love this album. Dave Mustane still acts salty about getting kicked out of Metallica, but I think it’s the best thing that ever happened to him, and one of the best things to ever happen to Metal. We got 2 incredible but very different Metal bands out of his departure.
Sounds like Busch Gardens music. I feel like I can't give these African Albums a fair shake since I know nothing about the culture and don't speak the language. I did like this one more than Djam Leelii. It is good but I'm rating based on my own taste.
It’s quite erotic.
Really good as far as rap goes.
Kinda boring noises.

Not my favorite or even the best Beatles album. But it’s the Beatles. You can tell acid was an influence here. My favorites on this album are Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds, Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite!, Within You Without You, A Day In The Life.
I don’t like Indie Rock. Getting tired of all these bad albums on this list.
Pretty good.
Good singing but I don't care about this type of music.
What happened to Hip Hop? This is so cool, having guitar riffs in hip hop is awesome. However, I’m not sure I’ll ever give a hip hop album more than 4/5 stars. So 3 stars it is.
Ska is cool. This was unmemorable. Doubt I'll ever listen to it again.
Just so angsty and the singing is kinda annoying. Sounds like something a 12 year old would listen to and think it's deep. Its like a 90s version of Olivia Rodrigo.
Pretty good with a few really catchy songs. But there’s much better rock music from this time period.
Quite depressing, and not in a good way.
