Machine Gun Etiquette by The Damned
Jul 15 2025

Forgettable. Very little differentiation between songs that are faster tempo than I prefer. I'm sure in 1979 they thought these lyrics were really saying something, but even held up to the protest music other genres had been doing for a decade, these are nothing. Plan 9 Channel 7 was my favorite if I had to pick one. Looking At You was entirely too long and irritating the entire time, so that's least favorite.

With The Beatles by Beatles
Jul 16 2025

Middle of the road tracks, but easy to listen to i guess. You Really Got a Hold On Me is my favorite. Money is the worst.

War by U2
Jul 21 2025

Very boring album. Hookless songs that drag on for far too long. Mentions of revolution as a buzzword with no declaration of morals worthy of revolution. Poorly mixed.

Good Old Boys by Randy Newman
Jul 23 2025

Wasn't ready for how hard the political satire goes on Rednecks. Wouldn't fly today but hes not wrong here. Political songs interspersed with...bullshit? Weird vibes. Upon further reflection, I realize I will probably end up thinking about this album forever.

Vol. 4 by Black Sabbath
Jul 24 2025

I'm a bigger fan of their older stuff. A lot of this feels phoned in. Too much filler.

Melody A.M. by Röyksopp
Jul 25 2025

Got nervous when I saw "dance" but it's not nearly as bad as I expected. I thought it was going to be some overstimulating shit, but it's chill. I would call it soundscapes moreso than dance. Not my thing at all. This topped charts. What do people use this kind of music for?

Bayou Country by Creedence Clearwater Revival
Jul 26 2025

Like the songs, hate the vocals

The Message by Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five
Jul 30 2025

Clearly influential for upcoming rap and hip-hop. Interesting to see the funk still in there.

Mott by Mott The Hoople
Jul 31 2025

First song, All the Way from Memphis, i'm realizing all these British bands have vocalists that sound the same. I might be less irritated by this song if a better vocalist was carrying it. Nevermind, a better vocalist couldn't have saved this album.

Grace by Jeff Buckley

Grievous Angel by Gram Parsons
Aug 06 2025

Absolutely zero reason for this to be on this list

Scott 2 by Scott Walker
