Paranoid by Black Sabbath
Jul 24 2025

Ive always preferred Ozzy's 80's and early 90s solo work over Black Sabbath, but this album is fantastic. A lot of riffs are a bit too sluggish and drawn out, but overall a well composed album with some great stories and messages looped in.

Raw Power by The Stooges
Jul 25 2025

I've never really listened to The Stooges before, despite hearing about them and knowing who Iggy Pop is. I hear a lot of influence here on other artists that I like. It's almost like what you get if you mix George Thorogood and AC/DC. I will never listen to "Seek and Destroy" by Metallica the same again. The song "Search and Destroy" from this album has a very early Metallica vibe in the later part of the song.

The Wall by Pink Floyd
Jul 28 2025

A masterpiece. This album is an opera disguised as a rock album. It tells a story rife with emotion. Despite the songs working together to tell a story, each song also has the ability to stand on it's own.

Moon Safari by Air
Aug 01 2025

The bass in this album is the best part about the entire thing. I am pretty sure the first track (La femme d'argent) is in every heist movie made in the last 20 years. This album takes you on a bit of a journey. Each track is almost a different genre, while still keeping it together. A few tracks with vocals do get a bit too repetitive and can be annoying at times.

Guero by Beck

The first track was very annoying and repetitive. Then it became a clone of early Beatles.

Darkdancer by Les Rythmes Digitales
Aug 13 2025

The sound was great, some catchy parts with nice vibes, however, it was beyond repetitive and got aggressively annoying very quickly. I skipped through every song not even halfway through.
