I dig it.
Will need to re-listen, but on first listen not many stuck out to me as much as other Radiohead songs / albums I've listened to.
One of those albums that makes you go "Oh that's where that verse/chorus/line is from!" Great vocals and full band, but I'm hard pressed to understand what made this one stand out from other albums from the same era / genre. Could be my ignorance to the album's subsequent influence, but I just didn't find myself being pulled into the experience as whole, just a song or two stood out.
Fantastic. Disarm, Geek USA, and Silverfuck have entered my playlist rotation.
Somewhere between looney tunes characters sullenly walking away from a scene and a rotary phone falling down an elevator shaft lives this album. It's neat, but odd. Enjoyed it mainly because it is out of my wheelhouse.
Can't say I'm a huge fan after one listen, and that listen being while I was working. May need to re-listen, but first impressions aren't great.
Only a few song didn't hit the mark for me, but it's classic RHCP.
Fun jams
Rock n roll, Bowie, that's good in my book.
Wish I understood the lyrics, but had no problem understanding the groove and music.
1979 and XYU are stand outs. We only come out at night is a fun piece.
Reminds me of Billy Strings, so I dig.
