Amnesiac by Radiohead
Aug 17 2025

I liked the second half (I Might Be Wrong, Knives Out, Life in a Glasshouse, Like Spinning Plates) way more than the first half, I think some of the songs would definitely grow on me if I listened more times. Vibes were depressing though, I felt like I was a brooding male protagonist in a film walking down a dark street contemplating a fatal mistake I had made :D

The Cars by The Cars
Aug 18 2025

Unfortunately this album was really boring 🫣🫣 most of the songs felt very repetitive, only thing that kind of saved them was the guitar solos. Especially don’t cha stop and you’ve all I’ve got tonight were driving me nuts because the chorus was just the song’s title repeated over and over again….

The Velvet Underground & Nico by The Velvet Underground
Aug 20 2025

I liked the first couple of songs (femme fatale is my favourite i think) but i didn’t love the screechy clangy stuff that started to appear later in the album 😭 i know that this band and album are very significant in music history…makes me feel bad that i’m not rating it higher but i just didn’t enjoy it that much 🫣 honestly maybe im the problem and i need to listen to more rock and experimental stuff

Beggars Banquet by The Rolling Stones
Aug 21 2025

I really really liked Sympathy For The Devil (especially the percussion) but then was kind of disappointed that nothing else on the album had the same vibe. Wasn't a fan of the country/bluesy stuff unfortunately

Vincebus Eruptum by Blue Cheer
Aug 22 2025

Though I don’t think I’ll be listening again, I was surprised that the angry, chaotic, drunken heavy metal vibe wasn’t that bad. Could see it being somewhat cathartic haha

Paranoid by Black Sabbath
Aug 23 2025

guys the perseverance paid off šŸ˜i liked this album yippee! unsurprisingly my favourite song was the most mellow one (planet caravan) but the whole album was a solid good time šŸ’Ŗ

The Sun Rises In The East by Jeru The Damaja
Aug 24 2025

Had a really good time listening to this album! Vibes were great, Perverted Monks In Tha House is such a wacky song title heehee

...And Justice For All by Metallica
Aug 25 2025

It got a little repetitive because the songs were so long, vibes still good though

The Wall by Pink Floyd
Aug 26 2025

Genuinely so good! My first 5 star album ā˜ŗļø there was such a variety of moods and i loved the dramatics, i’ve never listened to a rock opera before so I was kind of shocked to realise there was a whole storyline going on, very cool! This album would make such a good movie soundtrack, i especially liked Comfortably Numb and all of the Another Brick in the Wall iterations

Real Life by Magazine
Aug 27 2025

This album was pretty fun! Some weird creepy circus vibes going on haha, I enjoyed it but don’t know if I would listen again

Metallica by Metallica
Aug 28 2025

I liked this metallica album better than and justice for all, but not enough to give it 4 stars…I feel pretty neutral about it but overall not my vibe

Music Has The Right To Children by Boards of Canada
Aug 29 2025

Very nostalgic sounding and hazy, I would probably only listen to this as background music since I found myself tuning out a lot (it was pretty long). Parts of it reminded me of the lofi music I used to listen to for studying

Blur by Blur
Aug 30 2025

I liked the first song? Then it kinda went downhill

Aug 31 2025

I did enjoy the clearly jazz-inspired parts of this album, my favourite song was Epitaph (although I wasn't much of a fan of the marching interlude) because I liked the dramatics and classical strings. Enjoyed the other songs significantly less though, which is why I'm giving it 3 stars.
