Lady Soul
Aretha FranklinSuperb! I'm groovin in my seat 🤩 What a vocal range and much love ❤️ to the backup singers. Band keeps it tight and just right. Freaking love this album!

1997 brit alt rock. Wish I knew them when listening to the strokes back in the day. Post punk.
Melancholic duets that aren't my peanut butter. Bit of eerie synth and guitar. 2009 hipster music.
Soulful, funkiful, sometimes a little sappy but with pretty great layering of all sorts of instruments, choir, and Stevie's hypnotic voice. So good! Should have listened to him when I was into George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic
Revolutionary! Who'd a thought to sing about pop culture? Man on the moon lyrics are so unique. Everybody hurts is sad and comforting at the same time. There's definite juicy layers to this pop music.
Volume @ max and scream out your problems! DON'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO DAD!! Loaded with bangers, these are the songs of my generation. Love those base lines 🫶 those drums don't stop holy moley Love Greenday too. They brought punk to the masses and stayed true to real defiance of the fascists that be ✊️
This band is still playing shows?? Their first album was 1974 🤯that's wild. I would have had my mind blown listening to them in the 70s before electronic music was a thing. But it's 2025. Still dancable thou! Paging all therobots in particular. Spacelab I've heard in movies before.. iconic now

When i was 18 I worked at a club in Lethbridge called Suede. I was a busboy and I had no idea about Wutang clan at that point. One night we were hosting a show and the bouncer told me to watch the smoking door for a minute while he went to the washroom and check ppl for stamps. Sure, easy. This black guy comes back in from smoking and I'm like where's your stamp bro? He was all offended because I didn't want to let him in and didn't recognize him. Skinny little white boy blocking his way. Lucky the bouncer was back and waved him through. He told me this guy was a performer that night. And that night was the Method Man and Red Man concert. I still to this day don't know who I turned around, but it coulda been you method man. 3 stars, would have been more but maybe you needed humility 17 years ago.
Beautiful music but slow and requies concentration
I'm too much of a pleeb to appreciate this fancy music.
I particularly liked the knee-slappers, the slow songs maybe for a sad day. Likes to sing about people like him apparently. Wild and free.
The frantic drums and chunky repetitive guitar add a sense of urgency and progression. But the monotonous singing and over all eerie atmosphere made this album unlistenable. I did get through it thou!
Iconic instrumental music that will always be replayed again and again. Blues and early rock for the history books.
Good beats for work, aproved. Definitely has that 2000s NY sound like the strokes. And even NY you're letting me down sounds a little Broadway. Funny lyrics in North American Scum. Thanks for including Canada! Was it too edgy to make a song called American Scum??
Great mix of reggae, jazz and even hip hop. I really enjoyed listening to this album and will revisit.
Willie is so soft and sweet. I could listen to this all day in a hammock.
The impetus for a lot of bomb tracks in the electro dance world. Thanks UK!
Great marching music! Synthy pop that's pretty catchy. Nice voice behind the singing. Go West is iconic
Interesting look into the life of a gay man in America. Very personal and funny ballads. Surprisingly emotional. Synth alongside piano
Immigrant song and since I've been loving you are a couple of my favorite songs. Album was outstanding!
Some good bang tunes for you and your SO
80s post punk pop from Iceland. Bjork had a good voice, just not my type of music.
CA has such control over her voice it is awesome. And you can hear the mix of so many genres behind that voice. I have mad respect for her. And way to prove the haters wrong and stand up to your bullies while being vulnerable!
Raw and no bars held for any disgusting theme. R*pe, incest, murder, domestic violence.. were we ok? Poor Marshall Mathers.
Odd and off-putting at times but deeply emotional and interesting music.
Superb! I'm groovin in my seat 🤩 What a vocal range and much love ❤️ to the backup singers. Band keeps it tight and just right. Freaking love this album!
Beach boys on acid. Sometimes cheerful and boisterous, sometimes sad and lamenting. Carnival sounds, and other interesting audio add ins like animal sounds.
My favorite band for a while in high school
Monotonous singing and ear-piercing harmonica. Subject of the songs was interesting but I feel like BD tried to stuff as many biblical/historical/literary references in along with folksy phrases. I guess it's just not cool anymore
This guy really tapped into his muse for this one. I hope melody got some royalties for her breathy voice-overs.
Fever is a great song, striped down and quiet. Lots of good ol sappy rock tunes and of course that voice is iconic. Warm and Warbly
Interesting mix of rock and blues, always soft and light. Catchy hooks.
Roundabout is a masterpiece of music. There's no doubt. But prog rock really requires the right mood at times.
Great rang of post punk rock from the UK. Great respect to skin for her fantastic voice and control. The band has great range and make some surprising songs blurring genres.
I love Rod Stewart's early songs and this band aught to be talked about way more than they are. They are the up there with the rolling stones.
Really gets you in the mood for wonton violence. Nick Cave sometimes sounds like Shane McGowan of he sang of harming others instead of himself.
