Impressive album with some killer tracks. The first quarter of the album feels more like their next release, 'Color & Shape'. The rest of the tracks are gungier and less polished but are prime examples of where they came from and how their sound evolved.
Pre listening notes: Oh God, no. This is going to be like finishing my broccoli as a kid. Pre listening notes: Oh God, no. This is going to be like finishing my broccoli as a kid. Post listen notes: Shame on me. I had these guys confused with an 80s hair metal band. Thin Lizzie, and this album, rock. They're super tight and well rehearsed on this live album and each instrument comes through well in the mix. Lots of great guitar sounds, riffs, and solos.
Enjoyable listen. Not my favorite but they're well accomplished and the album is impressive.
