I was surprised by this album being so jazzy

Reminded me of Bob Dylan and Tom petty

I didnt realize where is my mind was on their debut album. I could clearly hear how they influenced later 90s grunge. Need to listen again more actively

Synthpop is my jam always but I enjoyed how well they captured the 80s vibe and at times were adding what sounded like dub step influence

It sounds like what i imagine the entirety of the 1980s sounded like

This is what I expect the beastie boys yo sound like. It had all of the songs I know from listening to them in high-school. I enjoyed Paul's boutique much more

My initial listen I thought the music was chaotic. I'll need to listen again with a clearer brain
