Destiny’s Child can’t miss! This album was the soundtrack of a movement.
Marvin’s finest work! What beautiful consciousness and tone on this album. A Masterpiece!
If there was a rating higher than 5 this album would get it! It’s perfect!
Destiny’s Child can’t miss! This album was the soundtrack of a movement.
A beautiful journey through Neo Soul! Phenomenal music!
Yes! MJ at his best!
In my top 100 All Time Albums… This album is a game changer!
I miss this Ye! This is an absolute 5!
Solid work! Grew up listening to this album with my mom! Not Marvin’s greatest work but great nonetheless!
Without question a MUST listen! MJ at his finest.
An absolute masterpiece!
This is one of the greatest full albums I’ve ever heard. From lyrics to production to sound engineering, sequence to skits and theme. This is beautiful music period!
Funky lil vibe!!! Groove is in the heart is the highlight of course but this whole body of work holds weight! Good theme!
This IS Hip Hop at its finest! Tribe and the Native Tongue crew are the soundtrack of my upbringing living in NYC! Absolute CLASSIC!
Not my jam but I get it! Overall good composition of music and Different!
I decided to open my mind to this album and so here we go! From the first note I felt like I was on to something special. I believe because I had zero positive expectations of connecting with it. Oh boy this is a vibe!
Not normally my cup of tea but I’m glad to have experienced this Album other than “Wake Up” which I’ve heard over the years. I enjoyed the album.
Reminds me of Hymns sung in an old Baptist Church. The writing on this was impeccable! Dwight Yoakam has amazing tone and I understand why this made the book.
This Album is a phenomenal body of work! I felt immersed in the room as if I was at The KOLN Concert. I’m going to continue down the Keith Jarrett trail. Great Album
Groovy throughout! Classic body of work
Very good album! This Album is an event, A Journey! Extremely cohesive!
Psychedelic Rock is just not my thing however I found myself locked into a groove on this one. Joplin is solid and the musicality from the band is on point. Not too shabby!
I remember back in the days this album was released. I went into rockin soul on sixth Avenue in New York City and to my surprise, they were sitting Cypress Hill to sign my vinyl. This album holds a special place in my heart, especially the first six songs after that no Bueno. This is an important piece of art however it is not that good. Hate to say it but as a classic body of work, this is not it.
What a nice vibe! This is a universally great album. It is just great music, mixed and arranged extremely well. This is being added to the rotation asap.
I like the soul and funk elements of the music but feel as though the album overall misses the mark. Great messaging on several songs which I appreciate. Fame is the Hit and it’s last. Not a fan.
This was a huge moment in time when this album was released. This one was a monster w/ Dear Mama, Shed So Many Tears, Me Against The World, and many more. Very groovy musically and vocal perfection. I appreciate this album now more than I think I did back in 95....Adding back to the rotation! In my opinion this is a Hip Hop Classic.
Interesting album overall, Some songs were on point and others sounded like a demo... I couldn't really get into it but overall it was descent music but just moving on.
I just didn’t connect here. Not my cup of tea at all. Just an album for me….
Iconic Album. Beautiful in every way! A constant listen!
Super solid album. I truly enjoyed this Album in its entirety. Count Basie & His Orchestra delivered in every way. I’ve heard these tunes all my life and have never listened to them all in one sitting and am glad I did. Added to the rotation!
Pure Magic! Pleasantly surprised by this one! Added to the rotation.
Nice Album… I felt like I was at a cool venue enjoying the sounds. Wasn’t blown away just solid.
