Pretty hokey and dissonant - somewhat hard to listen to. I can appreciate why it’s important though.

I get it - it was groundbreaking for its time, but it’s too goofy for me.

You know, I’ve thought they could never match BSSM, so always sold their following albums short. I never thought I was into Californication, but listening again from start to finish. This really is an amazing album - and RR to boot.

Eclectic and a little too folksy for me. I like their other stuff better
