1001 Albums Summary

Listened to this one on a cold, rainy November morning. Dulcimer is killer. Mandolin-esque. California and A Case of You are standouts. Some of the other songs start to run together a bit when listening to the whole album all the way through.

Pretty good. Everyday People is my favorite from the album. But the funk starts to get a bit repetitive.

Always a pleasure. Found a new one I hadn’t listened to closely before—Lonesome Suzie. Good stuff!

Have listened to Drake (Nick Drake, that is) for several years but have never really "gotten" him the way many other seem to have. This time around I listened more deliberately and found a lot more to like. I think it's music you need to be in the right mood for. The day after Thanksgiving, it certainly clicked more. The opening and closing tracks in particular spoke to me ("Time Has Told Me" and "Saturday Sun", respectively).

Excellent stuff. "I Could Never Take the Place of Your Man" is the standout for me.

A nice listen but didn't find it to be anything special.

Very pleasant. I might rate higher upon further listens. Made me think of Robert Altman's "Nashville"
