1001 Albums Summary

first three songs would all be skips for me and already make me regret this. lyrics are not hitting for me the backing doesn't sound like anything special and I have nothing positive to say about the instrumentation. I did not enjoy this album.,

Short, punchy, energetic. Simple lyrics and somewhat forgettable songs nevertheless are fun enough while they're playing that it draws no complaints from me. While it's not an album I would be hunting to put on, it's also one that I wouldn't mind coming up in the rotation every so often.

Not my personal favorite Steely Dan album but nevertheless and incredible album in it's own right.

An interesting album conceptually, but the lack of guidance means the interpretation of it as a soundtrack can be somewhat scattered

I can understand this album being jarring to someone who isn't prepared for it or in the right state for it, but I really enjoyed it as a background as it played.
